I had to pop on here to brag a little about Miss April. She qualified for the Gifted Education program, which we are totally proud of! Tonight they had a Gifted Academic Fair and she came in 2nd place overall!! We are so proud…her project….Bos Primigenius Taurus Flatulence and the effects of it. (That’s COW FARTS!) Her project was a hit and she did a great job answering questions. Go April!!

]]>Here are a few pictures:
We went to a snow play area and did lots of sledding. The girls had a blast and we plan to make it an annual event! Fun times:)
]]>Alright, here’s some pictures.
April’s show was on Monday night. Here are the girls (and our friend Casey) posing before we left.

The 4th grade performed Hot Cross Buns and Mary Had a Little Lamb on their recorders, April totally looked like she knew what she was doing. So cute!
This picture makes me smile because it reminds me of her 1st Christmas musical in Long Beach and that joy when she found us in the audience and just kept waving during the show. She still was so excited to see us (Granny, Dad, me and Abby) in the audience cheering her on.
Abby’s show was on Tuesday night, she was SOOO excited!
Not sure why we (me and the girls!) always open our mouths when we are doing pics.
Here is Abby with her teacher Ms. Brown, Abby just adores her! And I am so pleased to have such a fun teacher for her first year!

April and Granny, waiting for Abby’s show to start. They were color coordinated:)

Now as Abby got on the stage, she spotted us and did that “I’m so excited to be on stage” wave. And then she starts jumping up and down because she is so excited. And THEN she bends down, grabs her dress and pulls it over her head! It had to be up there for a good 20 seconds. Yes, that was our kid showing off her stuff!! Later she tells me that she was just trying to show us her dress…we saw it…haha!
